How to Catch Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus in Gen 5
Track the BW roamers, unlock Landorus and separate Dream Radar Therian formes.
Tornadus roams in Black and Thundurus roams in White after the Route 7 weather-house event. Landorus appears at Abundant Shrine when both are present. B2W2 Therian formes come from the separate Dream Radar application, not normal sequel routes.
Requirements
BW roaming event: reach the late story trigger on Route 7.
BW Landorus: bring both original BW roamers to Abundant Shrine; one must be traded from the paired version.
Use a fast trapping plan, status and route-gate weather reports to manage the roamer.
Roaming Tornadus and Thundurus
Trigger the storm
After receiving the Route 10 access notice following the eighth Badge, visit the Route 7 house. The elderly woman explains the storm, and Tornadus in Black or Thundurus in White begins roaming Unova in Incarnate Forme.
Track the route
Check electronic bulletin boards inside route gates for reports of unusual weather. The roamer changes routes as the player crosses area boundaries, so move between adjacent gates until the storm appears on the current route.
Preserve progress
HP and non-volatile status persist between encounters, but Sleep or Paralysis alone does not stop escape. A fast Pokémon must apply Mean Look or another trapping effect before the roamer acts. Shadow Tag can work when its normal restrictions allow; Arena Trap does not affect these Flying-type roamers.
Landorus at Abundant Shrine
Bring the Tornadus and Thundurus caught in the original Black and White roaming events together to Abundant Shrine and interact with the shrine to encounter Incarnate Forme Landorus. The event checks the original-game pair, so do not promise that an arbitrary later-game import or different form will satisfy it. Normal paired-version play requires trading for the opposite roamer.
Black 2 and White 2 differences
- The standard BW roaming sequence is not copied into the sequels.
- Normal B2W2 cartridge progression does not directly catch all three. They must be transferred from BW or received from Pokémon Dream Radar under its original conditions.
- Pokémon Dream Radar is separate Nintendo 3DS software, not a feature built into Black 2 or White 2, and supplies the trio in Therian Forme.
- Bring the Therian Forme Landorus received from Dream Radar to Abundant Shrine to obtain the Reveal Glass. The Glass switches the trio between Incarnate and Therian Formes.
- Original hardware and software access is required for the Dream Radar route; this guide does not treat Pokémon GO as a substitute or provide unofficial acquisition methods.

Can Landorus be caught without trading?
In the original BW shrine method, both Tornadus and Thundurus must be present, so normal paired-version trading is required.
Can you catch the Forces of Nature normally in Black 2 and White 2?
Not through the ordinary sequel route. B2W2 can receive them from the separate Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Dream Radar software or through compatible transfer and trading. Therian Landorus from Dream Radar is also required for the Reveal Glass event.
